MY PLATFORM
Academic Excellence
Academic excellence goes beyond report cards, grades, and test scores. Our schools should be instilling a love for learning and critical thinking. Our Falcon students should be able to embrace academic challenges, seek out new knowledge, and develop a strong work ethic. They need teachers, staff and curriculum that lays the foundation for this growth. Our students need reliable and consistent mentors at every level of their academic life cycle. This will serve them well in their future endeavors and it will organically increase FHUSD enrollment.
Family Engagement
Family engagement plays a crucial role in the success of our public schools. When parents, grandparents, and other caregivers actively participate in their children's education, it fosters a supportive learning environment and enhances student outcomes. I believe the FHUSD School Board and Administration should seek family engagement and volunteerism in the classroom and at regular school events throughout the year. Let's empower our children's educational journey - together!
Financial Transparency
& Responsibility
Ensuring financial transparency and responsibility in our school district is critical to rebuilding accountability and trust in our community. Every taxpayer deserves to know how their hard-earned money is being spent in our schools. I believe in engaging our community and gathering input and feedback on our budget priorities and financial matters. I believe in striving towards zero audit deficiencies while dramatically improving student test scores, attendance and enrollment.
